Disposal

We offer two different means of disposal that is left entirely up to the client. There is no additional charge for either disposal method.

Disposal Method One:

Upon cooling, the media is placed into a secure storage bag which is then placed into one of our secure storage boxes, packed for shipping and double secured with security tape. Upon completion, the box is sent back to the client where it must be signed for at delivery. Once the client has signed for the package, the media is removed from the FSD logging database and is the sole responsibility of the client from there on out.

Disposal Method Two:

Upon cooling, the media is placed into a secure storage bag which is then placed into one of our secure storage boxes, and placed into one of our secure storage safes while awaiting transfer. Once volume has been met or after two months of “dry” storage the media is then securely shipped to an undisclosed company where the media is mixed with cement that is being used for the construction of artificial salt water reefs. Each piece of data is tracked during this process by FSD until the media is sitting on the ocean floor. At the point of confirmation, FSD destroys any and all records of the location of the media.

The company that constructs the artificial reefs has entered into an exclusive contract with FSD to insure privacy and security. The media is embedded within the concrete insuring that it poses no environmental hazards while sitting on the ocean bottom. The location of the media is never revealed nor is the company involved in the cementing process. You can rest assured that you’re data is 100% destroyed and unrecoverable while it sits on the ocean floor providing a new habitat for all manners of ocean life.

We prefer using method number two as it is the most secure and rewarding, but we also understand if a client would still like to posses their media, even after destruction.
